Hello and welcome to The Lyn Valley Dog House!

My name is Jacquie and I'm the dog mad owner behind Lynton and Lynmouth's Dog Emporium.  The Lyn Valley Dog House, has been a dream of mine since moving to this beautiful part of the world from Gloucestershire.  Lynton and Lynmouth are situated in an idyllic dog walking haven, with some of the most stunning countryside in the UK. While our human visitors are well catered for with many pubs, cafes, restaurants and shops to choose from, there was very little here specifically for the four legged tourist. The Lyn Valley Dog House aims to correct this, offering everything the visiting canine may require as well as a few lovely souvenirs to take home (and eat later).

Being a dog owner myself, I know how important it is to create a space for owners looking to buy a few special items that will enhance their dog's lives, whilst giving them somewhere to meet fellow like minded dog lovers.  My shop provides this physical space and our lovely group of social media followers provides a similar community online. Please check our contact details below if you'd like to get involved. Nothing makes us happier than receiving pictures of our customers and their dogs!

The business launched online in November 2020, offering boxes of carefully selected natural treats either purchased individually or as part of a subscription scheme. Since then we have gone from strength to strength, expanding our product range in careful consultation with our customers, whilst still sticking to our core policy of sourcing as many environmentally friendly products as we can and sticking local wherever possible. All our products have of course been extensively tested by our own two Jack Russells, Dexter and Dobbie, the inspiration behind our Three Jacks range of collars and leads (I am the third Jack). And for those who haven't heard of the carnage, we now have Mabel, a springer spaniel puppy.

In May 2021 I was finally able to make my dream come true and open our physical shop in the quirky old town area of Lynton, offering our products to locals and tourists alike. The shop stocks all the products that are found on our website as well as a few items, such as beds, which are too large to post. In addition it provides a great space for dog lovers to meet, have a chat and introduce us to their beloved pooches.

Keep an eye on our social media pages for updates on our business progression.
